Hi, I’m Carrie
I’m a weight-inclusive, anti-diet registered dietitian nutritionist and certified intuitive eating counselor. You may also know me from my regular nutrition columns in The Seattle Times. I help people who are struggling with food and body image concerns at all points on the dieting-to-eating disorder spectrum.
This includes individuals who are struggling with yo-yo dieting — often with out-of-control feelings around food — and a lack of confidence about how to eat and truly care for themselves. It also includes those who are want help recovering from a diagnosed (or suspected) eating disorder.
In my work with clients, I help them heal from disordered eating behaviors and mindsets and start to tune into and trust their own body’s wisdom and develop a deeply personal plan for nourishing themselves — with food and self-care — so they can make empowered, compassionate decisions to support their well-being and ultimately feel better in their own skin.
I serve most states in the U.S., and accept BCBS and select other insurances.
